"A service to celebrate the life of Boyd Albritton will take place next TUESDAY AUGUST 16th
(NOT Monday, August 15th) at Myers Park Presbyterian Church at 2 pm. His cremains will be buried beside his father’s in Mayfield, Kentucky. No memorial charity has yet been designated - will post when known."

Boyd Albritton
May 27, 1952 - August 6, 2022
Charlotte, North Carolina - Boyd Andrus Albritton, age 70, passed away in Hopsice on August 6, 2022. A native of Charlotte (born May 27, 1952) he attended Eastover School, Alexander Graham Jr. High, and Myers Park High School. Boyd cherished his lifelong friends, and will be remembered for his individuality and humor, his creative talent and driving passion for music. His virtuosity in Blues and Rock-&-Roll guitar playing was exceptional, and the gift of his music will remain for his friends, family and fans to enjoy.
He is survived by his sister Edith Albritton, of Charlotte. A memorial service will be held at Myers Park Presbyterian Church, Tuesday August 16, 2:00 PM.
