Conrad:

Thank you for posting this. It brought back fond memories. I knew David from when we played together in the Soundation, and hung-out through high school at Myers Park. Time goes by so fast.

From David's youngest daughter...

Hello all,

Thank you again for joining us last week, it was a very special day and we are honored that you shared it with us.

I built this list from those who left me email addresses at David's service, please feel free to forward or send me emails for anyone else you have contacts for who would like to be in the loop. I'm including a Dropbox link to the photos in the slide show here and will follow this email with one where you can view the slideshow as a whole.

And...an update on Mom. She has made the decision to discontinue cancer treatment and enter hospice care. So far she is holding steady, resting peacefully, and may actually have some improved energy for awhile as the side effects from her last medication wear off. Although tiring, seeing everyone who came to the service was very special to her. I will continue this email list to keep everyone up to date and add any more contacts as I get them. Please let me know if you'd like to come for a visit or feel free to pass on my info to other friends who want to be in touch.

Much Love,

Melissa

I think that David and Jane built a beautiful life in those mountains that was based on hard work, creative inspiration and love and respect for each other and their family.  What greater legacy can anyone leave their children?!  It was a joy to watch the slide show that their daughters put together.  I send my love and prayers for Jane for strength and peace.
