Deceased Name: Mr. Joseph Lynn (Joe) McGuirt
50, of Charlotte, died Tuesday, March 13, 2001 at Presbyterian Hospital.
He was a native of Mecklenburg County, the son of Mrs. Ollie Martin McGuirt of Ellenboro and the late Charles R. McGuirt. He was a maintenance supervisor at an apartment complex and attended Caldwell Presbyterian Church.
Besides his mother, he is survived by one son, Ben McGuirt of Albemarle; three grandchildren, Travis McGuirt, Trenton McGuirt and Lindsey McGuirt.
Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, March 15, 2001 at 3:00 P.M. at Concord Baptist Church with Rev. Chris Masters officiating. Burial will be in Walls Baptist Church Cemetery.
Visitation will be Wednesday from 7-9 P.M. at McKinney-Landreth Funeral Home, to whom arrangements have been entrusted.
