Alan Breitman

On February 24, 2021, Alan Breitman of Roswell, GA, loving husband, and brother passed away at the age of 68. He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Cathy Breitman; his sister, Myra (Ross) Frapart; his brother, Paul Breitman; brothers-in-law, Lewis, Ellis Thomas, and Alan Fisher; and sister-in-law, Margie Hyde. He leaves behind many beloved nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews, and friends.

Alan was born June 18, 1952 in New York and was raised in Charlotte, NC. He attended school at Wingate College and East Carolina University. Alan worked in many industries, including owning and managing several restaurants. He was passionate about helping people.

Alan lived with multiple sclerosis and diabetes for many years. Although these are debilitating diseases, he maintained a positive outlook and even strove to help others to benefit from his positive attitude.

Kind. Funny. Goofy. These are the words that best describe Alan Breitman. He was eager to make everyone he encountered feel happy and loved. He was giving and selfless. Alan’s motto was to help everyone smile, even if only for a brief period of time. Alan made the world a happier, kinder place. He will be missed.
