Beecher Tate Denton, III
Mr. Beecher Denton, III, of Mooresville, died Monday, November 18, 2019 at Iredell Memorial Hospital. He is survived by his mother, Betty Denton, sons Ryan and Brandon Denton, and a daughter-in-law, Elisabeth Denton, along with two granddaughters.

Catherine Estelle "Stella" Shively (Wilson)
My family had a little cabin on Lake Norman south of Beechie's family's place. Beechie and I used as much gas as we could buy cruising the lake, water skiing, tubing, discing, swimming and playing on the big rope swing near Ernest Barry's lake house. Beechie was a good barefoot skier and we used to joke there wasn't anything that would float he couldn't ski on. Many weekends other friends joined us. I only saw him once or twice after high school, but I will always remember him and how much fun we had at the lake.
