Mr. Lowe, 51, of Charlotte died Tuesday, January 23, 2007 from Huntington's Disease. He was preceded in death by his parents Mildred and Fletcher Lowe, Jr. and brother Edward.  David is survived by his loving wife and devoted caregiver of 20 years, Pamela Blount Lowe; sister, Camille Lowe Jarrett; niece and nephew, Liz and Matt Lowe. He is also survived by his faithful companion Savannah and friends.  David was a talented person and a gifted musician who is now free from the ravages of Huntington's Disease.

 

There will be no funeral as David requested. Burial will be private.  Memorials may be made to Hospice at Charlotte, 1420 E 7th St., Charlotte, NC, 28204 or Huntington's Disease Society, NC Chapter, POB 240353, Charlotte, NC 28224.  A special 'Thank you' to all the Hospice caregivers for their support and comfort they provided to our family during David's illness.  'Please support stem cell research to find the cure for Huntington's Disease.'
