Dennis Robert Taylor

Dennis Robert Taylor CHARLOTTE - Dennis Robert Taylor, 60, of Charlotte, passed away Wednesday, June 24th, 2015, at CMC Main (Charlotte). He was born in Oakridge, Tennessee to the late Fred Saunders Taylor and the late Lowdema Taylor Bass. Dennis graduated from Myers Park High School in Charlotte and for many years worked at United Refrigeration which is now Americold Logistics. Declining health forced his retirement. Survivors left to cherish his memory include his daughter, Chasity Denise Taylor Black, grandsons Taylor Black, Chancellor Black, and Justice Black; brother Ronald "Tootie" Taylor; sisters, Sheila Birchfield (Tom), Mary Azar and Kathie Threatt (Billy). He also leaves his special friend Carol Bayne. He is preceded in death by two sisters Alice Biddle and Pattyann Morgan. He also leaves many nieces and nephews that he cherished. Dennis never met a stranger and leaves behind more friends than can be listed. A visitation to honor his life will be held at Hankins and Whittington Funeral Service, 1111 East Boulevard, Charlotte, on Saturday, June 27th, at 5:00 PM. A funeral service will follow at 6:00 PM.
