Rick Brandt, 57, of Crozet, passed away surrounded by family and friends on Friday, November 30, 2007.
He is survived by his parents, Richard Martin and Mattice Fritz Brandt; his wife of 29 years, Joyce Page Brandt; and his "bambinos", Lydia Mattice Brandt and Austin Randolph Brandt. Rick is also survived by his two brothers, Bill and Mark Brandt; his two sisters, Ticee Jensen and Lou Hatch; and a host of special family and friends.
Rick's longtime canine companion, Sobeka, passed away on the same day.

The family would like to express their special thanks for all the support and love received over these past two years and to the staff of the Hospice of the Piedmont.
The family will host a gathering for friends and family from 4 until 7 p.m. Monday, December 3, 2007, at Veritas Vineyard and Winery, Route 6 West, Afton, Virginia.
Named "Most School Spirited" of the Class of 1968, he is fondly remembered by classmates including Gary Hinch ('68), who provided his name and immediate family survivors.
