Don't forget that we have discounted rates at the Anza Hotel and the Hilton Garden Inn, both in Calabasas (Anza is within walking distance of Sagebrush), but the discounted rates expire on 9/12, so book quickly! 

We will be attending the Taft/Chatsworth football game on Friday night, October 12, at CHS. The Booster Club will be reserving a section for us (working on the details). The JV game begins at 4:00, and the Varsity at 7:00. We are working on a Bob's Big Boy gathering, and if that comes to fruition, will post more info. 

Dr. Guy (principal) is trying to arrange a tour for us of the campus on Friday afternoon. As you are probably aware, the campus is no longer "open". Another major change is that the buildings are no longer set up for "English" or "math" or "science", etc, but rather are set up as clusters for different study goal focuses. What that means, is that two buildings are the core for studies and the students stay within that core group for the three years; pre-med, engineering, "liberal arts", etc. I had the tour about 10 years ago, but have forgotten the details! (duh!)

We had a picnic in the quad area last time, on  a Saturday I think, but Dr. Guy thinks that a Friday afternoon visit might be better this time. PS, no earlier than 3:00, as class is still in session! Details, again, to follow...soon, I hope!
