Susan Jaeger Woodhouse recently let us know that Richelle, her dear friend of over 50 years, passed away the morning of April 19, 2016 from cancer. She had been in hospice since December and held on as long as she could. A service for her will be held on May 1st from 2-5 at the Santa Susana Community Center in Simi Valley, 5005 East Los Angeles Ave.

Richelle and I grew up together; she lived in the house directly behind mine. We spent wonderful years enjoying each others company, were in each others weddings, and were pregnant at the same time (her third and my first). I moved away and we stayed in touch for many years but then gradually lost touch. I really admired her. She was such an acomplished professional, a lovely person, and always such fun to be around. I am shocked and deeply sad to hear about her passing. My condolences to her family.

Richelle was always such a special friend to me. We sure had a lot of laughs together. I miss her terribly.

Richelle was such a special being......a very intelligent and caring person. I felt very lucky to have been able to spend the 2008 class reunion at the same table with her.....and have pictures of her and Emily Rable, Trudy Davis ......
