A friend wrote to us to let us know that Lynne died of esophageal cancer from taking Fosamax like bone strengthening meds.

Lynne and I go back to Junior High School together, and always sat nearby each other, as our last names were close in the alphabet. We had a lot of fun growing up together through Junior and Senior High Schools. I will remember her as friendly, and very smart. She had a good wit.

So many people our age victimized by medical promises. I have resorted to a book by Suzy Cohen (pharmacist) called "Drug Muggers" which explains and reveals what things are depleted in the body from perscription medications, among other things. I learned my heart palpitations were caused by a depletion of magnesium, brought on by perscription blood pressure meds (15 years) . . . Beta Blockers.

I remember Lynne well and always found her kind, friendly and intelligent. My regards to her family and friends for losing her way too soon.  GB  Lacey, WA

I was Editor in Chief of the Clarion as was Keiko Shimamura and others.  She was not only beautiful but incredibly bright, one of the smartest students in our class.  Cancer is such a horrible disease, it doesn't seem right that we have waging the war on cancer for many, many decades and yet so many suffer with this disease in its various forms.  My wife, Suzanne, who is in hospice care from her 5+ years of fighting rectal cancer, and I brieve for her loss and hope that her family is doing well.
