Brent McGhie was kind enough to inform us that our classmate Larry Spangler passed away in September of 2012 from respiratory failure/cancer at the age of 63.  He lived in Georgia and is survived by his wife, Carol, daughter Jennifer, sister Denise and 2 grandchildren.

Brent also wrote that "Larry won an Emmy for technical achievement in the 80s. He was one of the kindest, most sincere people I have known."
