Jimmy and I grew up together in the 3200 block of Calhoun Avenue in Clifton Hills (Chattanooga, TN). We spent many hours riding our bikes and playing baseball in the grassy parking lot of a nearby church. His grandmother's old grey plymouth four door car took us many places over time. The last time I saw Jimm was 1974 when his first son was born (Corbin Caruthers). I also had a son, Scott, the same year while living in Knoxville, Tennessee. I will always have my memories of childhood and growing up on Calhoun Avenue and enjoying the cub scouts and playing army with all of the boys on that block. Jimmy was a good man and is missed by many who knew him.
