Well David, you made it easy. I’ll just follow your guideline and comment in turn.

My spouse is Teresa Diane Williams Bramlett “Diane”. I met Diane in Hattisburg Mississippi while training at Camp Shelby with the National Guard. The best thing I ever did was to bring her back to Georgia.

We have five children, Tara, Dewayne, Denise, Sandy, and Charles Jr. “Chuck”. We have three Grandchildren, Natalie, Hannah, and Chloe, and our youngest Daughter, Sandy is due to deliver our fourth in May. We are immensely thankful and proud of all our Children and Grandchildren.

I retired July 31, 2004 from the DuPont Company in Chattanooga after forty years, serving in the position as the Site Fire Marshal.

I also retired from the U. S. Army with 23 ½ years of service, spending most of my time in the Army National Guard’s 196th Field Artillery Brigade. The last eight years of my service I served as First Sergeant of the Headquarters Battery.

After high school I entered the work force and went to night school at UT Chattanooga until a Junior. I then transferred to Chattanooga State earning an associate degree in General Education, and another degree in Fire Science Technology. I received a Bachelor of Science in Management from Covenant College.

My main attention is toward my wife, children, and grandchildren. However, I started writing after I retired and got caught up on home projects, and have published three books. I have some others in the works, but usually stay too busy to write. My wife and I also enjoy collecting antiques, and I collect coins, Civil War artifacts, and other collectibles.

I am on facebook and twitter.

I transferred from LaFayette High School, and attended Kirkman my senior year. Therefore I did not have the opportunity to establish many “running buddies”, but I was friends with several. Included are James Fite, Jerry Adams, James Germ, Sybil Baine, and June Stidham. I was in the Key Club with Jerry Adams and James Germ.

My favorite teacher was Mr. Pope in Industrial Chemistry.
