Gloria was always friendly. She was a spiritual person that had come out of a bad home and was welcomed into a home from our high school. The name begets me but they lived in McNiel Canyon.
Gloria was battling with her own self image, and sexuality unaware that people accepted her for who she was and for her heart, not for her sexuality. One of our classmates was her best friend, and when she married and had a baby, Gloria left a note on the table of the family she lived with, went up the canyon and used a shot gun, taking her own life, as she truly thought there was no acceptance and any way to deal with being homosexual.

On many occasions i can remember in younger years when i first met her she began track, and i was having troubling times at home, with family, and wasn't having the best thought process when it came to what all was happening physically and mentally,(i am sure we all had a little of that) she used to always walk and talk on the way to the field with me and always have he right words to say.. how there were always reasons for everything, yet we lost a dear friend right after we graduated. the same month i believe around the 20th or so of June.

As all of you may or may not remeber, Gloria and I were together through the last couple of years of high school. I think you may remeber her for who she was... The kindest person who saw the best in everyone. Just not herself. So I added a couple of vid's that I think would explain both sides of her. I know I miss her still...

I think that we all have felt like this. Just remeber we all have to take care of each other... Or who else will?...

Remember this. We all treated people one way and thought another. The difference is this!

Its not what you were then. Its the trials that made you who you are today and thats the point that matters now. Just remeber to be the person you WANT to be not the person you think that everyone else thinks you should be.
