Larry Robinson

LARRY D. ROBINSON, 69, of Cherokee, Iowa passed away Tuesday, April 1, 2008 at the Cherokee Regional Medical Center.
Larry was born February 9, 1939 in Cherokee, Iowa the son of Harry & Flossie (Parcel) Robinson. He graduated from Washington High School in 1958 and was a 1963 graduate of Morningside College with majors in Business Administration and Mathematics. He was employed in the state office of the USDA and the Farmers Home Administration in Champaign, Illinois from January of 1966 until his retirement in December of 1984. Upon his retirement he sold his home and returned to Cherokee. He was active with United Cerebral Palsy serving on the state board of directors as well as president of the local board of directors. He served on the board of directors of the Development Service Center. He enjoyed reading, current events and playing cards either live or on the computer.
He was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers, Ronald, Bernard, harry and Loren Roninson; three sisters Gladys Sleezer, Sally Pearson and Nina Heithus.
He is survived by two brothers, Lloyd Robinson of Meriden, Iowa and Raymond Robinson of Renton, Washington.
