Howard L. Ruff, Jr.

Chesaning, Mich.

Passed away early Friday morning Dec. 14, 2012 at St.Mary's Medical Center Saginaw. Age 72. He was born Jan.30, 1940 in Chesaning. His parents were Howard O. Ruff and Ila (Eisenhauer) Ruff. Howard graduated from C.M.U in 1962 and was a teacher. He taught High School for 30 yrs. Over the years, he taught industrial arts,math,and vocational ed.  He was assistant principal for 4 of those years. Howard had a love for woodworking. He enjoyed coffee hour at McDonalds every morning and going to the Casino. He loved his family and they loved him.

 Those left to mourn him include his wife Bonnie L. (Ketchum) Ruff, Chesaning. They have been married for 51 years.  His 2 children and their spouses: Dale (Paula) Ruff, Bay City. Kelly (Michael) Personke, Midland. His 4 grandchildren: David and Sarah Personke and Shaun and Jessica Ruff. His sister Barbara (Ernest) Bronson, Bozeman, Montana. Many nieces, nephews and cousins.  Those who have passed away include his parents and his sister Gloria Moore.

Private family services have been held and no public services are planned.
