I was so sorry to read this on Jeff's FB page Monday night when a friend posted there about his passing. Most of us knew Jeff as a unique guy with a sense of humor that was out there. As I recall marching was not his forte Hard to understand how he ended up in a military college. But, he made it through to the end with the rest of us. I never thought he would end up in Texas and a few years ago when I heard that's where he was I was shocked. From the comments on his wall it sounds like he had a very rewarding life serving as an inspriation to many and teaching others the self-confidence and  perserverence he learned. Probably at PMC. I'm sure he leaves a hole in his Texas community with his family and friends. Will light a candle. RIP Jeff.

This is very sadden news. I was looking forward to be requanted with Jeff at our reunion. He was a funny guy and not all that military. Jeff was in my platoon at ROTC summer camp. He could make you laugh, when that was not his intention, For example, the day our platoon took to the repelling tower, Jeff struggled with his D-ring harness and the rope.  As soon as he tried to hang over the wall, he slipped and, in a second, he found himself lying flat on his back against the wall upside down, --clinging to the rope, in a panic, thrity plus feet in the air, while the sergeant-in-charge kept screaming at him. It was one of those sences you never forget!  Troy may have witnessed this as well. Rest in peace, bubby!
