Rest in Peace John you will be sadly missed! Over the years we did have the opportunity to do several things together, it was trying at times and a lot of laughs others!. Worked with John on the 50 years Reunion, along with several other Classmates! We covered a lot of ground and had a Wonderful time when we all came together! The memories will always be a great part of the memory of John and his every effort to make the Reunion the best ever. We have lost a lot of the Classmates that made that Reunion a memorable occasion!. So John when you see the Ckassmates that have gone before us please remind them that we will again be together at some time in the Future! I will raise a glass of my favorite Scotch whisky in your Homor this Week and Weekend! Save me a seat at the Bar for when Iget there. Fair thee well until we meet again! God Bless ! Your Classmates Ed Farrell.

John was from my home town of Teaneck NJ and got me interested in attending PMC. Great guy. My condolances to his family and many, many friends.

I first met John in the PMC messhall as a rook. We were lowly waiters. John had a management skill that showed up for special events. Particularly if the event involved food. In his senior year, his nickname was Lt. Lunch.
He continued working on our class homecomings, reunions and local events. I live in Massachusetts and John and his wife Lynda offered to put us up when we traveled to the Chester area.
John's father was killed in France during WW2. July 4th was a special day to him. When he came to Boston for his cardiac surgery, he and Linda stayed with Mary Beth and I. We were able to watch our town's 4th of July parade. Ironic that he passed on July 4th 2024.
Bill Symolon and I attended his memorial service in Chapel Hill, NC. We were honored to be chosen to speak during the service. Both Bill and I spoke about the good memories we had of John as a cadet and as a person. He was a valuable member of our class and contributed his skill and time to our events.
