Colley, Cynthia "Cindy" Childress, 55 of Midlothian, VA., passed away February 6, 2018.  She was preceded in death by her father, William H. Childress II.  She is survived by the love of her life and husband Keith Colley; mother and stepfather, Paula and Charles China; sister and brother-in-law, Julie and Michael Gordon; very special nephew and niece, William and Haley Gordon; mother and father-in-law, Maxine and Tom Colley; brothers and sisters-in-law, Frank Gardina (Carolyn), Brian Snipes (Laverne) and Sandra Snipes; as well as many other loving family members.  Cindy was a banker for many years before becoming a seamstress and owning a business with her mother.  She took care of her nephew and niece from birth while her sister worked, becoming a second mother to them.  The family will receive friends 1:00 p.m. Monday, February 12, at Bliley's - Chippenham, 6900 Hull Street Rd., where a funeral ceremony will be held at 2:00 p.m.  Interment to follow in Dale Memorial Park.  In lieu of flowers, the family is asking that donations be made to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, www.komen.org, or the American Cancer Society, www.cancer.org.
