Gordon Ronald Thompson, Jr., 53, of Powhatan, went to be with the Loard on May 2, 2017.  He is survived by his wife Sharon; children, Sarah and Trey; parents, Gordan and Nancy Thompson; and his beloved dog, Remi Lee.  Gordan was a much loved husband, father, and son.  He was employed with Ukrop's for over 30 years.  Interment at Dale Memorial Park.
