Richard Sharpless contacted me after our 20th reunion and we started talking some via email. He was living down in Florida and asked me to send him the class reunion directory that we had put together for the reunion - which I gladly sent to him. Richard told me that after many, many years he had finally turned his life around and that if he hadn't made some changes, his life style probably would have killed him. We didn't communicate alot, but it was nice to hear that he had made some changes in his life. I honestly can't say if I know what Richard died from or how I found out, but something is sticking in the far recesses of my limited RAM that he might possibly have been struck by a vehicle. If anyone knows any more details, please let me know.
I have joined a site to try and locate any obituary information and the only thing I could find was a death notice.
