Mary Kathryn Hartigan Plummer Obituary

Mary Kathryn Plummer, 64, passed away on Sept. 9, 2015, in Anchorage, Alaska. She was born on June 3, 1951, in Omaha, Neb., and moved to Alaska in 1990. A celebration of Life will be held on Sept. 24, 2015, in Cheyenne, Wyo., with her ashes to be interred at a later date. Mary was a L.P.N. and worked at the Mary Conrad Center, Providence Extended Care and Pioneer Home, all in the Anchorage area. She loved to read and enjoyed crocheting, listening to The Beatles, collecting ceramic birds, flowers and travel. Most important, Mary loved all her family with all her heart and she doted on her three cats. Mary is survived by her husband, Bruce Plummer of Anchorage; her son, Brian (Beth) Plummer of Denver, Colo.; and her daughter, Aimee Plummer of Anchorage; and her grandchildren, Jacob and Maeva Dillinger of Anchorage and Holden Plummer of Denver, Colo. She is also survived by her mother, Donna Hartigan of Cheyenne, Wyo.; her sisters, Susie (Hal) Hardy, Jeannie Pelton and Ann (David) Schindler all of Cheyenne, Wyo., Margie Hartigan of Thorton, Colo., and Kathy (Jeff) Elden of Graham, Wash.; and her brothers, Joe (Dori) Hartigan, Paul (Karen) Hartigan and Ryan (Marty) Hartigan, all of Cheyenne, Wyo.; as well as many cousins, nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her father, Ray Hartigan; and her infant brother, Eddie Hartigan, both of Cheyenne, Wyo. Arrangements are with Janssen's Evergreen Memorial Chapel, Anchorage, Alaska.
