Patricia Ann Wertz, 61, of Cheyenne went home to be with the Lord on April 28, 2013. She died at home surrounded by her family.

She was born Nov. 22, 1951, in Cheyenne and had lived here most of her life.

Ms. Wertz worked as an accountant for the state of Wyoming. She was a member of Cheyenne Hills Church. Ms. Wertz was the best grandmother in the world. She enjoyed quilting and traveling. She had visited Europe on numerous occasions.

Ms. Wertz is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Trent (Melissa) Wertz of Cheyenne; two grandchildren, Troy and Lily Wertz of Cheyenne; and seven siblings, Virginia Torres, Judy Karklins, Gerry Ocheskey, Gail Rogers, Richard Ocheskey, Barbara Ocheskey and Robert Ocheskey, all of Cheyenne.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Howard and Bernice Ocheskey, and one son, Troy Wertz.
