Gary L. Fisher - 1952-2004

Gary Lee Fisher, 52, of Englewood, Colo., died Dec. 30 at home in Englewood.

He was born Nov. 22, 1952, in Berwyn, IL, and grew up in Cheyenne, graduating from Cheyenne's East High in 1970.

In 1978, he married Patricia Ann Grandstaff in Grinnell, Iowa, and they had two daughters, Milissa LeAnn and Melinda Jo.

Mr. Fisher is survived by his wife, Pat of Englewood; daughters, Milissa Morgan and her husband Shane of Littleton, Colo. and Melinda Fisher of Englewood; his mother, Clara C. Fisher of Cheyenne; three brothers, Bruce and his wife Lori of Cheyenne, Danny and his wife Ann, and Mark and his wife Verna, all of Casper; three sisters, Carla Brown and her husband Jim, and Cindy Brown and her husband Todd, all of Cheyenne, and Julie McMullin and her husband Scott of Elizabeth, Colo.; and 23 nieces and nephews; and 14 great-nieces and great-nephews.

He was preceded in death by his dad, Allen Dale Fisher of Cheyenne; and his grandparents, Joseph and Christina Kuemper and Nick and Jennie Fisher of Minnesota.

A memorial service will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at West Bowles Community Church in the chapel, 12325 W. Bowles Ave., Littleton, Colo. A reception will follow the service at 6193 S. Datura St. in Littleton.

We all went to school with Gary in Cheyenne back in 1970 ! We all were pretty close friends during that period of time . We shared some of the same things in life such as riding our 305 Honda SuoerHawks, going to East High and living in the south side of town ! We are all very sad to hear of Garys death . God be with you and your family. Time is a cruel hunter.
