Monette Dillon Wynn was born December 5, 1951 in McComb, Mississippi to the late Clara LaPearl Dillon and JF Dillon.

As a child Monette grew up in Eldarado, Arkansas. She attended the public schools of Cheyenne Wyoming where she met and married Maurice Wynn, Jr. in 1970 and then moved to Fort Pierce, Florida. To that union, five children were born. She served on the clerical staff at Frances K. Sweet and Bayshore Elementary schools for many years.

Monette was in several organizations, she was a member of the Treasure Coast Charmettes also a member of the Gamma Lota Sigma Philo. She was the First African American Vice President for St. Lucie CF-CU local 3616.

Monett and her family were faithful and active members of New Shiloh and Mt Moriah Primitive Baptist Church for several years. More recently she moved her membership to Greater Mt Pleasant under the leadership of Elder Charles Hendley where she served as a Deaconess. She was a faithful Sunday School student. vice president of the inspirational choir. Secretary of the Prayer Band, and a member of the Senior Bible Study. She also served with the Matron Society and the Pastor’s Aide Ministry. Monett was a willing worker and did whatever her hands found to do. She was a member of the Community Fellowship Choir which recently served the East Florida Primitive Baptist Association.

Her warm heart heart and sparkling smile will always leave sweet memories in the minds and hearts of her Daughters: Angela Renee' Wynn, Melanie Wynn and Michelle (Tony) Wynn; Sons: Maurice Wynn III and Derrick Devon (Latisha) Wynn. Brothers: Carl (Cynthia) Dillon, Joseph (Marilyn) Dillon and James (Patricia) Dillon; Sisters: Debbie Dillon, Charlotte (EC) Charles,Stephanie Dillon and Carol Jordan; Sister-n-laws: Annie Lois Ferrell,Danice (Jaffice) Donaldson, Raynetta Wynn and Felicia Wynn; Brother -n-laws:Herbert Wynn, Charles (Winnifer) Wynn and Richard Jackson; Godparents: Prince Willie and Louise Green; Godchildren: (Lori Armstrong - 1st Godchild) Jerquesia Kiki Martin, Monique Daughtry-Benjamin, Bernie Hill-Dodd, Kimberly Daughtry,Tomonica Crosdale Patterson, April Lee, Wakeeta Bond, Tiffany Knight, Desirae Knight, Cedric Knight, Isiah Hudson and Wesley Sands; Grandchildren: Davirous, Jabaris (Courtney), Sierra,Frantravious, Alexis, Jadia, Serayah, T'niyah, Jayla, Ericka, Donte' and Kamari; Great Grandchildren: Jayden, Ja'Khayden, Ja'Kyra, Zyaire, Zanai and Rhailynn; and a host of other relatives and special friends who will miss her dearly.
