"Chuck" Charles Albro

Charles 'Chuck' Albro Jr.

Charles “Chuck” Albro Jr. passed away at Sacred Heart Medical Center in Spokane on March 6, 2013. He was 48 years old.

Chuck was born in Fort Benning, Ga., to Charles S. and Murlene J. (Collins) Albro.

Chuck grew up moving around the world with his military family, gathering many friends along the way. He was a beloved son, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin and friend. He was loved by many and will be deeply missed.

Chuck graduated from Cheyenne East High School in 1984, where he participated in track and football and earned the honor of playing in the Wyoming Shrine Bowl.

After high school, Chuck moved to Washington and Oregon where he enjoyed hunting, fishing, boating, cooking, coaching high school track and football, volunteering with Special Olympics and spending time with his family and friends.

Chuck was preceded in death by his father Charley Albro, and his grandparents Jim and Marcella Albro and Latrell and Gwen Collins. He is survived by his mother and stepfather Murlene and Darius Albro-Young, his sisters Charlene (Kevin) Surber and Kristin (Ricky) Thomas, stepbrothers Joel and Chris Young, his nephews Dylan Hutchins, Wesley Surber, Cameron and Andrew Gambill and his niece Nathasha Surber. Although Chuck did not have children of his own he had stepchildren he loved, including three he remained close to and held very dear to his heart: Jason Hungerford, Jeremy Hungerford and Jodi (Hungerford) Tallman and their families.
