Derek James Jacoby, 49, of Denver, formerly of Cheyenne, died July 11 in Denver.

He was born May 9, 1965.

He is survived by his parents, Walter Jacoby of Cheyenne and Priscilla Jacoby of Denver; sister, Jocelyn Jacoby Cruz; three nieces and one great-niece; as well as numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

Visitation will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 3050 W. 76th Ave., in Westminster, Colo. A rosary will be recited at 11:30 a.m. Friday, and Mass will follow at noon.

Burial will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Olinger Highland Cemetery, 10201 Grant St., in Thornton, Colo.
