Glenn Stewart

 

Glenn was born Aug. 6, 1966, in Colorado Springs, Colo., and had lived here since 1974.

He graduated from Cheyenne’s East High in 1984, served in the U.S. Army and was the applications development supervisor at the state of Wyoming Game and Fish Department. He later received his master’s degree.

Glenn loved riding his Harley, hunting and fishing, and baseball.

He is survived by his wife, Stacey (Halvorsen) Stewart, whom he married on Sept. 17, 1988, in Laramie; two daughters, Amber Halvorsen of Cheyenne and Charnele Stewart of Scottsbluff, Neb.; his father, Wendell Stewart of Cheyenne; a sister, Lesa Kolm (Gary) of Berthoud, Colo.; three brothers, Jeff Stewart, Scott Stewart (Kimberly) and Eric Stewart (Shelli), all of Cheyenne; two grandchildren, Aubrey and Gabriel; numerous nieces and nephews; and his beloved dog, Yoko.

Glenn was preceded in death by his mother, Marilyn Stewart; a sister, Lori Johnson; and three dogs, Meiko, Tasha and Duke.

Visitation and cremation were Tuesday. Services are at 2 p.m. today at Wiederspahn-Radomsky Chapel. Interment will be in Lakeview Cemetery.
