Irena F. Mondello, 48, of Cheyenne died May 22 at Cheyenne Regional Medical Center.

She was born May 30, 1966, in Cheyenne to Hans and Loralie Wydra. She was a teacher for 15 years.

She is survived by her sons, Chance Pennock of Cheyenne, Johnny Pennock of Denver and Chris Monson of Cheyenne; sister, Kim Adams of Cheyenne; father, Hans Wydra of Denver; stepfather, John Eckhart of Cheyenne; and four grandchildren, Clarity Pennock, Kylie Pennock, Laysen Monson and Topanga Pennock.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Loralie Moon, and a daughter, Abby Monson.
