Barbara and I meet in 3rd grade while attending Prussing Grammar School.
She Meet her Husband Ray Harbeck in her senior year, Ray and I grew up together in Jefferson Park. I'm Not sure if they were married in 1960 or 1961 after graduation. It sure was a great wedding though I remember dancing all night!
Barb and Ray had five children: Jeffrey 1963, Scot 1965, Michael 1967 (Michael Passed away at 19 years of age in 1988.), Rayanne 1970, and Brian1973.
Barb had her first bought with Cancer while living in Appleton, Wisc. made it through that, moved back to Illinois, to Palatine.
While living in Palatine the Cancer came back, she was so strong and so courages, no one would even think of crying in front of her, it would have been an insult to her strenght and courage. She sercum to her illiness on February 9, 1989.
My strong, courages and best friend!! I think of her all the time and the last thing I ever wanted to do was write her Memorial for our 50th re-union.
