Good Morning Family,

As we start this morning, I just wanted to take the time out to say Thank of all you for all of the memories that we have shared together. Death has a way of reminding you of your own mortality especially when that person is in your peer group.

Pete was my locker partner during our freshman year, and we also lived on the same block. Many days we would make the walk home together, and because he lived on 67th and I lived on 69th, he was always the first one to make it home. He would give me dap and in the collected cool that was Pete, flash his ever present smile. He would always say, Tone, Imma get up with you later. He had a great spirit about him.

So as we take our walks through life, Im giving honor to a great guy. He was not my best friend, but he is a guy that I am glad that I had the pleasure of knowing. As you make your transition Home Pete, thanks for the walk together and Imma get at you later. May God countinue to bless you and bless all of us.
