One day we had just left the locker room and were going to class or lunch when other students approached us having just come down the 4 or 5 stairs probably on their way to the locker room. I hadn’t noticed that Father Karlowicz was in front of us. As he came along side a couple of students I saw him swing his body to the left toward a student, with his left hand he took the student’s glasses off, continuing the swing he slapped the student’s face with his right hand. He then started swinging his body back to the right, put the student’s glasses back on and said, "don’t do that that again". I don’t think he ever broke his stride. I was amazed at how smooth it all went, and I’m sure they never saw it coming.
