Yup... Grace, he's a member of the LTAA from the Class of '87.  I've seen his name in various Facebook threads but don't know him.

Hey Bicentennials in AZ or all points west... come join us on March 9th for Cubs v Angels at Sloan Park in Mesa!  Georgette says we can all stay at her place!

Hello all,

I will be in Chicago tonight thru Monday and while I can read posts from there, I won't be able to post/respond. So, I want to wish you all (and your families) a very Merry Christmas and to let you all know how much I appreciate you awesome group of 76'ers. I have some more Lane related stories brewing, so stay tuned.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all Bicentennials and other Laneites! It has been a blessing to communicate with you through this forum and get to know one another better the past couple of years. Thanks especially to Michelle and Ken for keeping us connected and the thread lively!

Best wishes to all for a Happy Holiday season. Though I don’t get back to Chicago often, and my memory of my high school days is not the best, these posts have brought back some familiarity of people and places I’ve known. Thanks for the memories and the updates from the class of ‘76!

I just ordered my tickets for the March 9th Cubs-Angels Game. Excited about moving to Prescott on January 6th. Looking forward to living in Arizona again after moving to Roliing Meadows from Scottsdale 30 years ago. It's time to cowboy up again. Here's a link to The Prescott Frontier Days Rodeo this summer if anyone is going to be up that way. We are going on June 29th. Hope to see some 76ers and others this Spring in Mesa.

Merry Christmas to y'alls...being in California it's hard to keep in touch even with the ease of the internet. I do read all of the posts and still find you all amazing. We've all been blessed with a wonderful life after Lane and the loyalty and comraderie exits even after all these years apart. Don't get back to Chicago very often but would love to reconnect when I do. Here's to the best in 2018.

"Merry Christmas" in the sand...

I'd go tromp out something like "Happy New Year Laneites - 1976 rules!" - but it's TOO DARNED COLD!

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all.  Outside chance I might be able to go to 2nd Annual Cubs outing.  Might be out there visiting my dad.  As a Sox fan, this will be the ultimate sacrifice, but knowing  I'm there with fellow 76ers, it will be well worth it.

No worries John... The Sox and Cubs play at Sloan the next day so you can catch up with Laneites on the 9th, and see your team on the 10th!  Right now we have nine Bicentennials and their family members registered and it's still December!  Class of 76 representing!

Enough of this crazy sub-zero weather in Chicago!  We're going to Mesa!  So far 60 folks are signed up from classes ranging from 1952 to 2010, but guess which year has the most people attending????  That's right... the BICENTENNIALS!  With seven grads plus some significant others we represent almost 15% of the attendees!  We have 80 tickets reserved but can expand to 100, so give it some thought as you put on that second pair of socks tomorrow.  Go Lane Go!

Just to put your minds at ease...I was NOT the Florida woman who won the Mega Millions jackpot. It sure is fun to think about what I would do with all that money though. Hmmm....450 million. I guess a new car is in order (currently driving a 2004), and it would pay for a LTAA trip to Mesa! What more do I need?
