Nick Calogeropoulos, 52, passed away suddenly Sept. 20, 2011. Beloved son of Hercules and Dorothy; loving brother of Janet (Thanos) Giarmidis; dear uncle of Alexander and Christina. Resting at the Miller Funeral Home, 504 W. Main St., West Dundee, IL 60118 from 4 to 9 p.m., Sunday. Peter Vaccarezza
Nick was a terrific friend . Always smiling and laughing. I had the great fortune of playing basketball on the varsity with him. Nick also briefly worked part-time for me at a nightclub on Division st in 1982-83 He will be sorely missed and remembered fondly .
Gregory Logan
I used to drive Nick to school in our Senior year. Then jump ahead about 15 years, and he worked for me for a couple months when I had my recruiting business.I had lost touch, but am sad to hear of his passing. Good guy.RIP Buddy!
Peter Voulgarakis
We were very good friends from after Lane into our thirties. Best memories from our early twenties were hanging at North Avenue beach in the summers and hitting the Pump Room for breakfast as often as we could when everywhere else around Division Street was closed down. I remember Nick everyday. Sadly missed.
