My very best friend throughout my years at Lane.  Every memory I have includes Gloria.  Unfortunately, we became estranged after HS and the thought that I'll never see her smile again is so sad.  I was blessed to call her my best friend, partner in crime, confidant in HS, as well as my Maid of Honor at my first wedding.  Rest In Peace, my dearest friend.

Dear Leslie,

Aww so sorry for your loss. It shoke me to me core when I learned of her death

some years ago. She was such a nice person and gone way too soon. I think

it is like facing your own mortality when you lose someone of your own age.

Take Care,

Roberta Wiebrecht-Bole

Roberta... thank you so much for your kind words... she truly was a wonderful person, and I agree... it's so hard when you lose somebody so young.  She was truly a special person in my life, and I will forever hold her in my heart.

I learned of Gloria's untimely passing about 15 years ago when I moved back to Chicago and tried looking up high school friends.  She was a wonderful person and is truly missed.

Gloria (Evdoxia) was one of my dearest and closest friends.  Starting in high school and continuing until she died.  I still miss her.

Gloria (Evdoxia) was in my division IIRC. She was one of the nicest people I'd met at Lane. Was very sorry to hear of her passing.
