On March 20th, 2011, I lost one of the best friends that a person could ever ask for. We became instant friends at Lane early in our Freshman year and remained friends until her passing. It was one of the saddest days of my life. Jan (Alexis) was one of the smartest, funniest, most talented and resourceful people I've ever met. Anyone who knew her, loved her. She brought many smiles to many people. I think of her every day and miss her so much. Rest in Heaven Jan.
