Maria was a real sweetheart and one of my favorite friends at Lane. I used to tease her about going from "long hair and glasses" during freshman year to "short hair and contacts" by senior year. I am deeply saddened that she has passed away. I will be thinking of her during our reunion weekend.

Maria was a sweet lady. She was proud of her Ukrainian hertiage. She had a great sense of Humor. At the last reunion I found out she lived in Lake Arlington about a half a mile form my house. She will be missed.

This news made me so sad. I will always remeber Maria with a big smile on her face. She was smart and competent and kind and funny. I always loved her hair!! I used to tell her she had the best hair at Lane. I am so sorry for her family. I know they must miss her so much. She will be in my thoughts at the reunion.

Maria was one of the first people I looked for on this list. She was such a sweet girl that I met freshman year. She talk me all about the Uki Village. I remember she could say sentences backwards! RIP Maria. 💜
