Ruth Gamble, age 47 of Delray Beach died peacefully surrounded by her loving family, at her home on Saturday, October 27 after a long and courageous battle with breast cancer. Ruth was born in Chicago, Illinois on March 2, 1960 to Edwin and Hildegard Schindel. Ruth moved to Florida from Chicago in 1987. Not long thereafter she met the love of her life, Jeff Gamble. They married in 1988 and had one son, Alec Josef. Ruth leaves behind her devoted husband, Jeff; son, Alec; mother, Hildegard Schindel; brother and sister-in-law, Siegfried and Shelby Schindel; sister and brother-in-law Kornelia and Greg Storc and numerous in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and grandmother. She was predeceased in death by her father, Edwin Schindel. Memorial services will be held on Friday, November 2 at 7:00 pm at Trinity Lutheran Church, 400 N. Swinton Ave, Delray Beach.
