I took care of Michael on the oncology floor of Evanston Hospital. It was a difficult decision to be his nurse, but I think he felt some comfort in having a friend take care of him. When I learned of Michael's death I was sobbing. He was only 24 years old.
Michael was a wonderful friend, and like so many others that have passed away too soon, they will be in our hearts and remembered in the most endearing way always. Thank you Ellen for your care of Michael and so many others.
