I recevied news about the passing of classmate Kal (Kalman) Kaplan on April 21, 2024.  Kal had resided in Palm Desert, CA.   Thank you to Roger Lindauer for bringing this to our attention.  And to Tom Safran. 

Here is a brief message from his widow Linda Kaplan:

Kal suffered from lymphoma for 5 years. He kept it private in order to lead a somewhat normal life. He died April 21st at City of Hope in Duarte. He fought a long hard battle and now he can rest. We miss him very much.  Fondly, Linda
