Classmates:
I received word that our classmate Jeff Samuels passed away, May 17, 2024. Thanks to Pete Diltz for forwarding the message from Jeff's sons. Pete's comments: Jeff and I were in 1st grade together (along with Fred James) at Crow Island School. He visited me in Door County and we had a wonderful time recounting memories from our childhood through high school.

Hi All,
Our father Jeffrey Samuels passed away last Friday, May 17th at his home in Marina Del Ray. He was surrounded by friends and family. We are all deeply saddened and know how much our father meant to every one of you. He had a full, fascinating, and meaningful life. Jeffrey always went above and beyond to help, care, and be there for people.
We will be holding a celebration of his life on what would have been his 79th birthday on Thursday, May 23rd, 2024. Details are below:
