John (Brent) Bersbach

Dear Classmates:                             

I heard from classmate Peter Diltz this morning with the sad news that Brent Bersbach has passed away.

I imagine that many of us remember Brent..I always remember him with a big smile...

His service is Friday, June 10 in Dallas at 3:00pm CDT.  More information on his obituary.

Thanks again to Peter for letting me know to share with all of you.  May our dear Brent rest in peace.

I was grateful to be included on Brent's memorial zoom event today along with his childhood friends, Pete Diltz & Walt Stringfellow.. also Rich Schneider, Bart Springer, Norm Goodfriend, Jeff Samuels & TJ Dunn were on as well.. Though it's been almost 18 years since I talked to him, who can forget that good-looking guy with a great personality.. I'm sure I'm just one of his many female admirers during our NT years.. we all had crushes on Brent at one time or another.. I was so sorry to hear of his passing, but from the loving comments of those with him at the end, he faced his illness with great courage and honesty.. Rest in peace, dear Brent..
