Gail left a daughter Miriam. The Math & Science Academy is in Aurora, not De Kalb.

Gail and I went back well into elementary school. For many years we were very close. I seem to remember that we were in the same Girl Scout troop. She lived across the street from Bonnie Block and the three of us were a threesome for several years. I was in her wedding party, which was such an honor and a joy. We stayed in touch for a number of years. She and her husband, Len, moved to Springfield, IL where he was active with the Illinois state legislature, as I remember. I heard from her once shortly after Miriam was born, but like so many relationships, it was difficult to maintain from a long distance, especially without the internet or cell phones. She was bright and sunny; we laughed a lot. She was very smart and was well on her way to making the best of her time here on earth. I'm truly sorry to see she is among those who are gone far too soon. I hope her family have wonderful memories. My condolences to them. I will miss her.
