I enjoyed knowing you, you were easy to talk with, a kind person. I am sorry for the suffering you endured these last few years, you are finally home, at rest. We will celebrate and remember you as we gather as a class one more time.
One of my closest friends in grammar school. If I remember right, Dean transferred to our school although I am not sure exactly what grade. I remember exchanging words with Dean the first time I met him. It escalated to a fist fight in the alley after school ( I didn't fare so well). The goofy thing is we ended up walking home together, becuase our homes were about 400 feet apart. We ended up being good friends, and walked home together all the time. We'd often stop in his grandfather's hardware store on, Ashland on the way home. Dean's family lived in an old greystone On Irving, with a full side yard (double-lot). I lived around the corner on Janssen. We played a lot in that yard. Rest in Peace my friend.
