What can I say about Steve. I have so many fond memories of him over the years I can't pick out just one or two stories. Steve always made me laugh and was a truly good guy.

Steve was a good guy. It's hard to believe he's gone.

Steve had the most perfect straight part in his hair in grade school. I could never get my hair to part like that. In grade school he had dark rim glasses and reminded me of Jerry Lewis. I remember his sly smile and constant practical jokes in grade school. I remember riding banana seat bikes all over the college campus, sneaking into Adams hall and playing on the old pool table and hanging out at Breezes soda shop. In high school I remember racing cars on the old Norge road. I remember his hot rodded volkswagen cars with enormous rear tires and fenders. He did all of the engine and body work on the cars. They were neat. We went to St. Louis our senior year for some sort of VICA deal. We had a great time and he teased Mr. Cowan so badly I thought he was going to give him a heart attack.

I never heard an angry word from Steve. He was always fun loving and a good friend.
