   Dorotha J. "Dottie" Arledge  Anderson, 85, of Frankfort, passed away on Wednesday, May 6, 2026, at Vineyards at Concord. She was born on January 17, 1941 in Chillicothe, a daughter of the late Francis and Mary Hopkins Arledge.

  She is survived by three children; Dawn (Dan) Miner, Darcey (Kurt) Myers, Doug (Debbie) Anderson, five grandchildren, Nic Miner, Emily Miner, Matt Milligan, Adam Myers, Christopher Anderson, three great-grandchildren, one sister, Cherry "Cookie" (Richard) Kaucher, extended family, Courtney (Jarrod) Hines, Calee (Brent) Smith, Corbin Smith, Caysin Smith, Lynlee Hines, and Collin Hines. She was preceded in death by her parents, Francis and Mary Arledge, one brother, Mike Arledge, and Gary and Diana "D" Cochenour.

  Dottie was a 1959 graduate from Chillicothe High School. She loved getting to spend time with her classmates at their reunions. Many also knew her from her time waitressing and making pies while owning her own restaurant in Clarksburg; and later years at the Frankfort Corner Restaurant. She was a proud volunteer of the Deerfield Township EMS and a Superintendent at the Ross County Fair Rabbit Barn for over twenty years. She also dedicated countless hours to Adena PTO, The Adena Athletic Boosters, and local food banks. Dottie truly enjoyed giving back to her community, though her greatest joy in life was caring for children; helping to raise 3 generations of loved ones. Her impact in those lives could never be fully repaid but it will never be forgotten.

  The family wishes to convey their love and gratitude to the staff at the Vineyards at Concord along with Adena Hospice. The care, support, and love you provided is unmatched.

  A memorial gathering for Dottie will be held from 12 to 2 p.m. on Monday, June 22 2026, in the Ebright Funeral Home, Frankfort. Dottie will be buried in Greenlawn Cemetery, Frankfort immediately following.
