     Roger L. Jones, 84, of Chillicothe, passed at 6:00 a.m. Saturday, January 25, 2025 in the Adena Regional Medical Center following a brief illness.

     He was born June 14, 1940, in Chillicothe, Ohio, to the late Earl “Red” and Elma Weese Jones. 

     Surviving are many cousins and friends.  In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a half-sister, Connie Ray and a half-brother, Vernon B. Camelin . 

     Roger was a 1959 graduate of Chillicothe High School.  He went on to serve in the United States Army during Vietnam War.  Roger was a freelance Tailor and Fabric Artist.  Roger was a longtime member of Walnut Street United Methodist Church and was a 50-year member of F.O.E. Aerie 600.

     Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, February 8, 2025 at the WARE FUNERAL HOME with Pastor Therese Lehman officiating.  Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery where military graveside rites will be conducted by the Ross County Veterans Honor Guard.  Friends may call at the WARE FUNERAL HOME one hour prior to the service on Saturday.
