Glenda M. Walsh, 75, of Chillicothe, Ohio, passed away Wednesday, August 10, 2016 at 9:32 a.m. after an extended illness.
 
Glenda was the daughter of Clyde and Sylvia Hiles who preceded her in death. Also preceding her was her husband Richard L. Walsh and daughter Lori Jean Walsh as well as brothers Glen and Roy Hiles.

Glenda is survived by her daughter Christy Walsh, son and daughter in- law Brian and Bianca Walsh, cherished grandchildren, Richard, Austin, Dawson and Payton Walsh. Glenda is also survived by her nephew Damon Hiles, brothers Wayne Hiles, Don (Alice) Hiles. Sisters Aleta Nichols, Martha (Hobart) Harris, Phylis Poe and several nieces and nephews.

Glenda was an avid volunteer for the Department of Veterans Affairs. She was a past member of the Scioto Twp. Vol. Fire Department, as well as a volunteer for the American Red Cross on local and national disasters including floods, fires and ground zero after 9/11. Everything Glenda did she did with self-less care and a constant compassion for others.

A celebration of Glenda's life will be held, Thursday, August 18, 2016 at 4:00 PM at New Life Church of Christ in Christian Union, 601 Market Street, Richmond Dale, OH 45673.
