Bonnie J. Fawley, age 80, of Chillicothe, passed away on Friday, February 10, 2023, at Adena Regional Medical Center surrounded by loved ones.

She was born October 18, 1942, in Chillicothe, Ohio. Bonnie worked as a cafeteria assistant for Chillicothe City Schools and later worked as a health aide, caring for many people throughout her career. Helping people brought her immense joy. Family and church were a big part of Bonnie's life; she was a faithful member of Tabernacle Baptist Church. She also loved animals and had many cats and dogs throughout her lifetime.

Preceded in death by her husband David “Tince” Fawley; father, Tandy Lee; mother, Edna Maupin Lee; sister, Shirley Brooks (Lee); niece, Peggy Watson (Brooks); sister-in-law, Trudi Fawley; lifelong friends, Jack & Jo Anne Leach. 

Bonnie is survived by her daughters, Rebecca J. (Keith) Young, Julia A. Davis; grandchildren, Ryan (Rebecca) Young, Anita Young; great grandchildren, Catherine “Cate” Young, Elizabeth “Lizzy" Young, Riley Snyder, Hunter Snyder, Camden Snyder; brother-in-law, Mark Fawley; brother-in-law Dave (Rebecca) Brooks; nephews, Mike (Jamie) Brooks, Steve (Lori) Brooks, Kenny (Julie) Brooks; great-nephews Adam (Marie) Brooks, Seth (Alyssa) Brooks; great-nieces Ashley Watson, Whitney Watson, Jenna (Christian) Fanelli, Christina (Charles) Woods. Special friends include Millie Waters, Vickie Rhoades, Bruce Yinger, Janice Pinkerton, Julie Paul, Misty Hatmacher, Dan Leach.

The showing will be at Ware Funeral Home in Chillicothe on Friday, Feb. 24th 5pm to 7pm. The funeral service will be the next day on Saturday, Feb. 25th at 11am located at Grandview Cemetery in Chillicothe. Afterward, there will be prayer and a meal at Tabernacle Baptist Church, where she was a faithful member.
